Healing from Emotional Challenges

Emotions can be profoundly wonderful, and they can be quite tricky too...

Emotions are an extremely important part of who we are, as human beings. All emotions are valid. However, not all perceptions are correct (each of us has been wrong, sometimes). Naturally, not all behaviors which flow out of our emotions are helpful. Sometimes, our responses to our emotions are unconstructive, unhelpful, and sometimes even destructive.

To have a truly happy life we need to learn how to put our emotions in perspective. If we allow our emotions to determine our choices and our behavior, then we will end up "dashed upon the rocks!" When our emotions call the shots in our life it often leads to more drama, more trauma, and more broken relationships, and that can lead to loneliness. Loneliness is simply unhealthy; for all human beings.

Usually, our childhood experiences determine much of how we emotionally respond to life. However, those reactions are not "written in stone." In fact, they are stored in our brain; and a human brain can be reprogrammed. That means that we can heal from abuses, slights, and neglect from the past. Then, our life really can become more comfortable, more manageable, and less dramatic.

For nearly 3 decades, Marc Leibson, IFLC has been helping people to heal from unfortunate and traumatic life-experiences, and helping them to manage their emotions more effectively. Such positive outcomes usually lead to increased comfort in life, greater self-acceptance, and more joyful and harmonious relationships. Such work is certainly a journey which, for most folks, is a bit intimidating. However, nobody is disappointed by their results, once they attain their own healing from past trauma.

For nearly 3 decades, Marc Leibson, IFLC has been helping couples: to improve their relationships, feel closer together, solve their issues with less emotional wear-and-tear, and to create greater emotional safety in their relationship. Marc is also a Certified Marriage Facilitator.

Marc and his wife have been together for 48 years, and the last 38 have been mutually supportive, joyful, and largely blissful - (it took us 10 years to figure out how to do what the research shows needs to be done, to result in harmonious relationships - unfortunately, we didn't know about the research until years after we had mostly figured out the winning strategies).
